Know, About me
First of all, welcome to enchan.org, and thank you for choosing to visit my website out of all the countless pages on the internet.
Born in Germany, I am proud of my decision to settle in the Land of the Rising Sun in 2017. As a long-time vegetarian and redhead, living in this fascinating yet culturally contrasting country is not always easy. But it is precisely these challenges that drive me forward.
My passion knows no borders – neither geographical nor linguistic. I love improving existing applications, developing new systems, and automating processes. For me, efficiency and innovation go hand in hand.
Sports play a central role in my life. Whether it’s Freeletics, yoga, or bouldering, movement helps me maintain a balance between body and mind. However, my greatest sporting passion is triathlon. The combination of swimming, cycling, and running constantly challenges me and teaches me perseverance, discipline, and mental strength. My training is more than just a physical challenge – it’s a way of life.
When I’m not working or training, I find peace in nature. I take care of bonsai and other plants, which not only teach me patience but also provide the energy I need for a balanced life.
Additionally, I dedicate some of my time to volunteer work – whether it’s delivering the local newspaper or assisting at a temple in Saitama, where I occasionally retreat for Zazen meditation.
Drawn to challenges and surrounded by a non-English-speaking environment, it’s no surprise that I spend the rest of my free time learning Japanese.
